September 2025: 26 black-on-white homicides
Letitia James wants to suppress Noticing. But we're still reporting b-o-w homicides
Kenn Gividen published his monthly collection of black-on-white homicides for September 2025 with commendable promptness, right on October 1. (Rabbits Rabbits!)
Kenn’s research was long the basis of VDARE.com’s MONTH IN THE DEATH OF WHITE AMERICA series e.g. here, which was among our most popular features (and probably one of the reasons New York Attorney General Letitia James has been so determined to shut us down).
Unfortunately, because of James’ ruinous lawfare, VDARE can no longer pay Kenn for his work. I do urge patriots to subscribe to his substack AbateHate.com. What follows is my analysis of his data.
America’s Ruling Class would never have been able to perpetrate a hoax like the 2020 Black Lives Matter blood libel against white America if the truth about black-on-white killings were not sternly suppressed. And this suppression is getting worse, making Kenn’s work ever more difficult.
Case in point: the astonishingly horrific home invasion-torture-sexual assault-murder of an an elderly Queens NY couple, Frank and Maureen Olton (pictured above).
I half-expected that the New York Times, which is still the bellwether for the Legacy Media, would simply relegate the Olton story to one race-unspecified squib, as it did the similar 2020 BLM-inspired sniper killings of Paul and Lidia Marino at their son’s graveside in Joe Biden’s Delaware.
But, perhaps under competitive pressure from other New York media, and by the fact that suspect Jamel McGriff was not conveniently snuffed out by police but was instead the subject of a manhunt while on a computer-tracked shopping spree with the Olneys’ credit cards (even, with telling stupidity, entering in his own store loyalty number), the New York Times did report the Olton killings.
But it was confined, in the print edition, as far as I can tell (I’m not going to subscribe to the darn thing), to its local New York news section i.e. no national significance. FWIW here’s the latest: Suspect in Murder of Queens Couple Told Police That He Burned Them, by Maia Coleman, September 12 2025.
Since then—nothing. No Op-Eds. Nothing from the “Editorial Board."
Well, who do you think this elderly white couple were—George Floyd?
And, above all, the New York Times never reported the perp’s race.
My readers might think that everyone KNOWS the race of the killer. But, out there in Americaland, they just don’t.
The New York Times’ self-censorship, and suppressing a story, that doesn’t fit the Narrative, is typical. But its lack of thumbsucking is particularly remarkable because the Olton case totally confirms the wisdom of John Derbyshire’s epochal The Talk: Nonblack Version. The victims trustingly agreed to let McGriff into their home because he claimed he needed to recharge his cell phone. Other neighbors, perhaps Derbyshire readers, refused.
New York Police Commissioneress Jessica Tisch said:
For the public, the message is clear. The suspect’s M.O. is to go door to door, asking for some kind of assistance until he can gain entry. So do not allow anyone you don’t know or who you are not expecting into your home.
Well, Police Commissioneress Tisch, this blanket ban on Christian charity (ever heard of the Good Samaritan?) doesn’t quite do it. Victim Timothy Lee Ethington apparently knew at least one of his visitors, through his mother. So he invited them into his home. They robbed and killed him anyway. (They were black, by the way).
While we’re on the subject of LEA malfeasance, Kenn points out that, in the case of Dwayne Clark,
The GBI press release and its social posts list the charges and the dates of the agency’s update but do not include agency-released booking photographs of the two suspects.
Local news organizations reporting on the GBI announcement showed photos associated with the coverage (facility exteriors, crime-scene photos or file artwork) but did not publish official booking mugshots credited to the GBI or to the Eastman or Pulaski County sheriff’s offices.
Emphases added. He just had to figure out the perp’s race by himself.
Beyond that, I am stuck by what seems to me to be an increasing number of home invasions; and of unprovoked killings over utterly minor arguments.
It’s apparently dangerous to get into any dispute with blacks at all.
One of the two (2) white-on-black killings is a interracial domestic dispute, the reverse of the usual pattern, although far from unprecedented. These interracial relationships relationships seem to be, as they say, problematic.
The other is a white who killed his brother’s killer in what seems to have been a Wild West shoot-out.
But WHY are we regressing to the Wild West?

Good grief. It's too much. NY's very restrictive gun laws are indeed part of the problem, even though, as you say, why are we even still in the wild wild West. Where I live, in the real West, we do keep guns, and are allowed to defend our homes with them. At least for now... But we shouldn't have to live this way in the modern world.

This is such a great point, Peter. I have an elderly friend who lives alone and is inside her apartment most of the time. She receives all of her information about the outside world from a Gannett-owned newspaper and cable television. She is completely ignorant of today's reality and if I didn't know better, I would assume suffers from dementia or delusion. She does not, and is a highly intelligent person albeit an ignorant one of so many topics.
Always assume the people in your life know basically nothing about racial (and other) realities, because in all likelihood they don't. They may be mildly better-informed than my friend, but the odds are they are not and know nothing about the dangers outside the door.
