A lot of conservative white people have left the state of California, as have their children (e.g., my five siblings and all their children). The whites left behind are often limousine liberal types who like politicians like Gov. Newsance. Rallying them to racial solidarity is a vain hope.

Well, Donnelly ran in 2014, when there was presumably more hope.

I also think that outside of the coastal strip, e.g. in NE CA, there are a lot of white voters who just aren't motivated right now.

"Nuzzi"? Oh, the childhood trauma.

I'm surprised at your writer, using "democratic" as a descriptor for democrats.

True conservatives don't do that.

We call the democrat party the democrat party, not the "democratic" party.

I realize that this is often an oversight so please correct this in the future.

We don't want to be telling people that democrats are "democratic" ... at any time.

Yes, I've come to the same conclusion myself since 2014, when James Fulford's piece was written. But I don't want to edit him retroactively

It's shocking, the number of conservatives who don't understand this - as easy to understand as it is.

Our vice president is one.

RFK was not killed by Sirhan, a hypnotized patsy, who was in front of him shooting wildly into the ceiling and walls and Kennedy's carrying a gun would not have prevented his real assassin from shooting him from behind. Do educated, politically aware people still buy into these cover stories re political assassinations?

What kind of Anglo-Saxon name is "Nuzzi"?
