Terrific article, Peter. Here's what I wrote in my restack, asking for people to support your fight against the lawfare effort against you:

An excellent article by Peter Brimelow. Though widely considered a firebrand, Peter is more forgiving than most people and is one of the most decent and polite intellectuals that I have ever met. Please read Peter’s works and by all means support his effort to fight off the revolting lawfare action against him by Letitia James.

It's simple: when he thought immigration was bad for white Christians, he was for it. When he realized that it was bad for Jews (e.g., importing legions of Muslims), he was against it. It is always who/whom with commies and ex-commies.

There are Jews who get it, the most prominent being Stephen Miller. When I was on the job, I met a Jewish Agent who was so hardcore anti-immigration (especially non-white) that one of my colleagues nicknamed him the "Kosher Klansman". Peter Brimelow has said that when VDare was still running, of his two biggest donors, one was Jewish.

People are naturally shallow and like to over simplify things. Saying "Every single time" might be comforting, but unfortunately, I see far too many Irish Catholics (the Kennedys who supported Hart Celler) who champion immigration (whether legal or not).

The Irish Catholic politicians are far different than the Irish Catholic street cops the latter of which have to clean up the mess caused by the former.

Norman Podhoretz was disappointed he didn’t get America to fight World War IV he touted in a book.

Sorry, Norm.

I never met the man, but this definitely strikes me as the most objectively honest and straightforward obituary of the man. Yuval Levin's obsequious piece in National Review would seem to be the other side of the coin so to speak. For all the talk of his principles and commitment to open-mindedness and intellectual rigor, he certainly seemed to have an endless reservoir of pettiness when confronted with disagreement, at least when coming from the right. Qualities that sadly seem more and more commonplace among mainstream Buckleyites of Con Inc. since the purges of the 1990s. RIP.

NP was another in a long line of Non-Americans, who grifted here to help himself and his ingroup.

A pox on him and his kind!

I joined Bill Buckley's Young Americans for Freedom when I was in high school. I recall watching his debates with Gore Vidal in 1968 AND not a few episodes of Firing Line, most notable was the debate with the young spunky Christopher Hitchens. (I think it may be on youtube). Immigration was a non-issue at the time, far as I recall.
