The SPLC doxxed him a couple of years ago. The article on it read like they went to extensive work figuring out his real name thinking they were going to ruin his life, get him fired, etc. It seemed like he went on with almost no blowback from it. He must have really kept to himself. I enjoyed his work and commenting on his blog. It will be greatly missed. Hopefully someone has access to any unpublished work he had. RIP.

Rest in peace, Chris. You escaped Lagos, if only for a short while.

If anyone can help, I'd like to keep his website online. Not just archived, but actually on thezman.com so all online links point to original content still. If anyone can point me to a potential contact of his: remolish (at) protonmail (dot) com

The ability of the Left to threaten and coerce is quickly dying out. Don't forget what we defeated when we win. We need to ensure that this virus can never grow in our society again.

He was one of the great ones, a serious and sober man in a medium that often caters to the fools and weirdos.

Tragic news, Mr. Brimelow. I felt as though I knew Z, though I’d never met him. We were the same age and I was hoping to buy him a Guinness at Amren this fall.

R.I.P. an original thinker…. strong…. Insightful…. Remarkably well read AND prolific…. Something he wrote this week moved me to send him a link to Nagarajuna. But, alas……

I’m glad you got to meet him. He was so funny, even gregarious, in person, for a self described hermit.

The SPLC, as Barnard said, doxxed him, through Hatewatch. The article is on line, linked below.

It appears, too, who I think was his brother died at 60 in 2020, also from natural causes.

And if you read that obituary, you find that Zman’s niece, Kristi Zander, passed away in 2013 at age 23. A lot of tragedy has befallen this family.

It looks like Chris’ mother had only just passed away this last January. Perhaps his heart was burdened beyond what anyone realized.

Yeah, I saw that. But it was typical of him not to make spectacle of personal difficulties.

I read Christopher's work for years and looked for his posts at the start of each day. I sent him a little art knife made by a craftsman in St. Petersburg a while back. I hope someone worthy will give it a new home.

Thank you Peter . Well said as always .

How about when make Berkeley Springs a Principality ? Mist of us are tired of the rabble of “ democracy “, “ the People “. I take the British side on July 4th - happy treason day .

You are IMO “ Sir Peter “ and your charming young wife Lydia - a beautiful young queen .

And don t you have some Brimelow daughters coming of age as princesses in your castle !

Thank you Peter

I started reading his work quite a few years ago. It was pleasing to read a truly intelligent and honest conservative. His deft skewering of Conservative, Inc. was so important - and entertaining, too.

So sad that he got struck down just when he settled his new place in the country, which it was obvious he was enjoying greatly. It didn't matter to me where he lived but I had guessed that it was somewhere near Berkeley Springs, a town I love to visit.

Godspeed, Zman.
